2021/5-6. There was a slight deepening to the yellow here but nothing untoward. This still felt quite early in its second stage, with stony structure. One thing I’ve found when dealing with white Burgundies from this period is that I would rather find what’s interesting and delicious about the bottle I have I. Front of me that stress over whether that one aroma is a hint of 5% premature oxidation or whatever. The only point to that is trying to figure out what to do with any remaining bottles - and even then, bottle variation renders the exercise of limited value. If you love white Burgundy and you opened the bottle, just go from there. — a month ago
Smooth and excellent with steak (American wagyu) Cherry and strong berry notes. — a month ago
Nice fresh and elegant Cab Franc, good texture, approachable tannins but with some grip still, a tad of green peppers but not too much 89-90
Beau cab franc, frais, belle finesse, touche de poivron vert mais sans déranger, belle texture enveloppant, sera très bon dans quelques années. 89-90 — 2 months ago
Superb nose, white fruit, some butter, classic and the palate follows suit with great texture, just a touch of sourness on the finish.
Superbe nez, fruits blancs, beurre, à peine miellé, la bouche est sur le même registre, assez droite mais avec une belle texture, seule note discordante une légère amertume un peu trop prononcée en finale. 90-91 — 12 days ago
Classic Saint Aubin that matched well with scallops — 23 days ago
More complex fruit profile than the Bourgogne Blanc. Seems less mineral but really takes off after 24 hours. The bottom end fills out and the classic nutty component appears alongside more tropical fruit. — a month ago
