Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, leather, jalapeño peppers, fresh herbs a touch of barnyard funk. Bright black and red berry/currant fruit on the palate with hints of black licorice, cedar and the aforementioned fresh herbs. Long finish and firm tannins. Quite fresh tasting and elegant. Perfectly aged. I thought I was drinking a light bodied Syrah. Thank you for including this wine in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B! — 6 days ago

Vintage 2015 | Italian rooftiles coloured rim, spicy smell and nicely developed velvety taste. Chinon that is aged can be só comforting. Cab franc shines. Paired with a simple but good spaghetti meatballs tomatosauce. It makes my day. — 3 months ago
Holding up the best of a trio of sketchy old Loire reds. With air this reveals black currant, mesquite, tobacco, tomato leaf and slightest hint of raspberry. Still excellent but needs food — 3 months ago
