This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast. Rich, complex and elegant.
Light burgundy in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing red currants, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, light vegetables, tobacco, chocolates, light barnyard, coffee and peppercorn.
This Single Vineyard is nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.
This 8 year old is peaking now, although it will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Roses, violets, licorice, baking spices on the nose. Dark cherries, blackberries, juicy plums on the palate. Concentrated and full body for KB. Good stuff if a little lacking in personality and complexity. — a month ago
Fantastic Pinot. Cherry, orange peel, cranberry with a smooth complex lingering finish — 2 months ago
On the nose, faint mandarin orange and honeysuckle... On the palate, that mandarin orange is built upon with crisp green-yellow apple, mineral, and pencil shavings... More-than-medium acidity here that I think would power some nice food pairings here... A long finish that to me carries the apple flavors quite a while... — 18 days ago
Earthy,Strawberry, Cherry, marzipan, violet. Absolutely sumptuous! — a month ago
Took a minute to open up but oh my goodness. Just fantastic. Little earthy big flavors. Heavier than most Pinots. — 16 days ago
On the nose, fresh strawberry, cherry, raspberry, candy and garden soil... On the palate, stewed strawberry, cranberry, and bright red plum... Muted tannin, but the big, soft mouthfeel makes this feel more substantial... A beautiful, long, kirschy finish here as well... — 22 days ago
