Not the Chardonnay,
Nice bottle for the 💰
Winemaker's Notes:"This unusual white Pinot Noir "Blanc de Noir" 2019 is 100% Pinot Noir from the famed “Grand Cru” level Sanford and Benedict Vineyard. The free run juice was separated off the sorting table and native-fermented separately in stainless barrels. Usually bottled as a Rosé, but due to ideal circumstances with the fruit arriving at the winery unusually cold due to very cool nights during the pick - no color was absorbed during that short time in the picking bins. Resulting in a beautifully complex white wine from Pinot Noir. Only 40 cases made." — 16 hours ago
I do like this Polish immigrant’s craft.
The blend of fruits are a broad spectrum of, sour, candied and floral, ruby, mid & dark, red fruits, dark, smooth spice, cinnamon stick, floral heaven & flat out elegance. The blue fruits in Paul’s wines are incredible.

This bottle was left at my birthday picnic, so we took it home not thinking much of it.
Roses, gummy bears, and strawberries.
Wow, unexpectedly great. Always a wonderful feeling when you’re not expecting anything.
Blood oranges flirt with rose petals, and threesome with grapefruit gummy bears to make a tart, refreshing, savory, and slightly pleasingly astringent autumn wine. — 6 days ago
Finally got our couch! And our coffee table lesgoooo!
Sage leaf, orange zest, honey in the bouquet. And a little funk.
Wow. Zing! Karpow! Boom! I call this a comic book wine because it literally jumps off the page and into your taste buds.
Not bad at all. Thanks NYT. — 10 days ago
Just tried a third bottle over past 6 months. A light style Pinot, something I would find from OR, not Santa Barbara, however this bottle was a bit more pronounced in aromas and flavors. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits and spice. On the palate ripe raspberry and wild juicy cherry with cola, oak and earthy notes. Developing with integrated soft tannins, well defined, elegant with underlying richness, long finish ending with flinty mineral character. Outstanding value! — 8 days ago
Quite a distinctive and gorgeous Pinot from Santa Lucia Highlands. Amber color is deceptively light for this full flavored wine. Rustic, woodsy with brightness on the edges. Medium acidity and a really fragrant and long finish. 14.8% ABV and it shows at opening. Needs to blow off a little. — 2 days ago
