Label does not refer to it being biodynamic. Nevertheless, it has everything I like in a chenin blanc and drinking beautifully in 2023. $25 — 3 years ago

Very nice balanced older Cab Franc. Very mature rather faded fruit laced with earthy notes that opened up. Good acidic texture and finish. Excellent with Amahs ribs and veggies. GL flash buy at 35. Next day even better after Eto and upping a point. Lively and fresh. 12ABV and biodynamic rescue of beaten down Anjou estate by Leflaive of Burgundy fame. Should have one left for a bit more aging — 5 years ago
Yes it is biodynamic which I tend to dislike, moreover this wine travels very badly and most of the bottles I drunk in the USA were bad. Surprise this one is really good. Color straw golden (my wife immediately caught on and looked surprised until I told her “bio”. Slightly oxidative, smokey, good mineral content. Warm vintage but pulls it off. Best coulee I ever tasted in NY. — 7 years ago
Absolutely stunning. Fruit is from a single biodynamic vineyard in McMinnville (Momtazi). 100% whole cluster fermentation and all neutral oak. Amazing structure with fine tannins and green peppercorn spiciness. Gorgeous red fruit and loam aromas. — 8 years ago
Honestly I've been drinking this for weeks and it is a bonafide crowd pleaser. biodynamic farming practices? Tuscan field blend? For fifteen bucks you're not gonna find quality like this. Plenty of evidence of fermentation...yeasty, a bit of brettanomyces, tingly sour fruits...Day 2 is vastly different. I'm having this with breakfast, like cranberry juice. I hope to see more wine like this circulating around — 9 years ago
Nikolaihof is among the oldest winemaking estates in Austria with roots going back approx. 2,000 years. The estate sits among Roman ruins and ancient structures. It was acquired by the Saahs family in 1894, passing from generation to generation since then.🤩🤩
In 1971 it was one of the first estates in the world to adopt biodynamic practices and has been Demeter certified since 1998. Its vineyards can be found on steep hillsides of the Wachau region (a UNESCO World Heritage site) in Austria, overlooking the meandering Danube River, with geographical features that help fuel ripening and moderate temperatures during the growing season. ☀️🌱
This wine is medium (trending deep) gold in appearance. 👁️
👃🏻 On the nose are complex aromas with pronounced notes of peach skin, nectarine, ripe papaya, dried apricot, yellow apple, honeysuckle, peony, steely minerality, wet stones, orange marmalade, hay, fennel, damp leaves, honey, cream, and petrol.
👄 On the palate this wine is dry with mouth-watering acidity, mouth-coating and textural qualities, medium alcohol (12.5%), flavors match the nose, and a long, polished finish.
It’s hard to believe this wine is essentially 24 years old, as it has retained incredible vibrancy adding lift to the earthy and honeyed characteristics. It was bottled in June, 2016, after nearly 16 years aging in old Austrian casks, resting underground in Nikolaihof’s dark Roman-built cellar.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 — 2 years ago

Raspberry, sorrel, ruby red, sorrel, thick raspberry jam, sorrel, acidic wet bite, light tannin — 6 years ago
So balanced no descriptors stand out - just damn good claret. Herbal silky with fading plum - medium weight. The Cullen girls Diana and Vanya are long time adopters of organic and biodynamic principles and this is considered as one of Australia’s leading Cabernet blends. Cullen say this will live 20 years so it is only halfway there. Have the next one later this year. — 7 years ago
Biodynamic, Mt. Etna, Sicily. Organic alberello, volcanic mineral soil. Naturale. Strawberry flowers and cherry Jollyranchers. — 8 years ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and blossom and spice, aged 14 months in (25% new) French oak. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with a touch of zesty lemon, crisp, with cinnamon and vanilla notes. Nice mouthfeel, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and earthy citrus mineral character. Biodynamic, Nice! — 2 years ago
Biodynamic Pinot Blanc with a splash of Auxerrois.
Fresh nose, herby, salty, mineral with the typical Alsace note of summer meadow & ripe orchard fruit.
Nice mouthfeel, a bit rounder & creamier yet beautifully balanced with zesty acidity, ripe pears, Mirabelle plums and orange zest. Finished off with a mineral, salty, stony note.
Very nice for summer terrace sipping but also a great food wine! — 4 years ago
Lime pith swells with shallot, lemon peel and lemon-poppy bread, seashell, chive, carnation, orchids, candied grapefruit peel bouquet. Dry and enticing entry, has a Chablis like austerity, but rounder, showing chamomile and caper with lemon juiciness. .

Young, needed decanting. Super strong at 14.7% vol, yet nice acidity. Felt tannic, not a traditional Pinot. Very hard to find! — 7 years ago
Lovely bright medium ruby color with slightly purple reflection
Lot of fresh red fruit, lively, red flower, oaky note, sweet spice but super elegant. There something sweet on the nose like ripe red berries
Big body, high tannin, med acidity, medium alc but super velvety and sexy

For under $20, this was the perfect pool wine. Juicy but not sweet, 10.5% alcohol, biodynamic farming, what more could you want? A wine that did its job expertly. — 8 years ago
Ugh I like this entirely too much. Such a beautiful and wonderful fizzy biodynamic rosé. Has a language all of its own. Strawberry and rhubarb, a little yeast and cream, with a brightness and structure that most wines dream of. Well made. — 9 years ago
