This Barolo wine has a medium-dark violet color, with a sort of brick red tint to it. Aromas of plums, blueberries, cassis and flowers come forth on the nose. The palate is black fruit and earth, with a peppery note and a firm set of tannins. A savory aspect rides along with the fruit, and there is a fine acidity which will make for some delicious pairings with food. — a month ago
Not as dense in colour as I was expecting. On swirling quite tawny on the rim. Aromas of dry red cherries, menthol and a touch of leather. Medium bodied for a Barolo. It does finish with dry dusty persistent tannins. An enjoyable Barolo in the mid to lighter style. Certainly not for long keeping. Went well with homemade pasta. — 21 days ago
Beautiful mint, rose, and tobacco elements with a vibrant herbal character. Nebbiolo usually ages very well, and this is a great example. — 11 days ago
Tasted may 2023 with Arianna making dinner. Rich cherry flavor (flavor blast at first) full body not too acidic. Little bit smoky. 3/4 — a month ago
Reasonably deep garnet , terracotta rim . Lighter with more red fruits , slightly floral , spicy , really quite elegant. Long on the palate , good acidity , quite noticeable slightly rustic tannin. Red rose and red fruits on the palate . Good length . Drinking well and will continue to do so for the next 10 years or so. — 21 days ago

Pretty similar colour to the Bartolo , medium deep garnet core , slightly less terracotta at the rim. Porcini mushrooms , sous bois , dried meat , really quite complex. On the palate more mineral , but with a strong meaty , porcini mushroom note , then with blueberry , blackberry . Very fine but present tannins , lovely balanced acidity . Long and really refined . With time in the glass shows well , but will improve over the next 5 -8 years and continue on a further 10 at least — 21 days ago
