I usually lean towards Russian River Pinot Noir as my favorite Pinot but ran across this gem and said hey, it’s from France and only $17. Why not? What a surprise. Often referred to as a "Poor man's Amarone, this Ripasso is quite good. Light and fruity. Vals are a little on the sweeter side but this has a nice balance and nose worthy. Not a bad price point either. Enjoy! — 7 years ago

Medium body Cab. You can taste the Bourbon influence but not overpowering. It has a slight hint of sweetness and cherry. This really goes good with a nice rib eye or prime rib. — 5 years ago
