Matouse Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Different than most Loire Sauvignon Blancs. Richer and fuller, slight nuttiness on the finish. — 10 days ago

Azienda Vinicola I Pastini

Faraone Verdeca Valle d'Itria

Summer apéro. Like someone else said, I don’t think I’ve had this grape before. Would definitely buy again. — 2 months ago

Alexis Oakville Napa Valley Red Blend 2000

What a surprise! Cork crumbled despite climate controlled cellar. Heady scents of raspberry and cocoa. The wine was showing very well for 20 years old. Fresh, vibrant raspberry, dark chocolate, and a bit of spice. Only had a small glass, but would live to see what this is like after being open for 12 hours. #swansonvineyard — 4 months ago

Alexis Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

While the foundation is elegant, it is still too young. There is a pepper overlay on the dark fruits and cassis and currants. I think as it ages and remains open, the wine will grow into its elegance. — 4 months ago

Domaine du Grand Tinel

Cuvée Alexis Establet Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of ripe red and black plum, blackberry, black cherry, sweet baking spices; dry, medium acid, medium ripe tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, very ripe and concentrated, alcohol a bit high, but quite tasty — 4 months ago

Alexis Skye Pinot Noir 2013

Had 2 bottles, found this one on back of cellar. Named for Lance Ellmans’ daughter, Alexis, the fruit comes from Claire’s Vineyard, in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, citrus & floral spice. On the palate, raspberry and cherry, with cedar notes & earthy tones. Good acidity, soft tannins, long finish ending with woody spice, hitting it’s prime. — 4 months ago
