Smoke and strawberry jam nose with a bang of alcohol. Deep purple color and oily legs after a swirl. Plum currants an minerals with a slightly burnt finish. Alcohol prominent after taste. — 6 years ago
Some wines fool you with a bland nose followed by an explosion of flavor on the pallet. This one of them. After a mild nose of vanilla and mineral, the first sip reveals sweet cherry and a follow on of green olives. The finish of cherry and strawberries lasts for hours. Wonderful and so easy to drink. — 6 years ago
A delicious, spicy red blend. Lots of red fruit and a lingering taste of cherry jam at the finish. A good stand-alone wine that doesn't need food to be at its peak. Best enjoyed in a big glass that will allow all the complexity of the nose to develop. — 6 years ago
It smells like a wet chicken impaled on a rusty railroad spike. But it has a smooth, sassy palate with sweet and dry notes shifting around your mouth. Lots of floral and some bitter green olives in the mix. Gentle tannins come out and day boo in the long, mineral and spice finish. An unusual and complex wine best tippled on its own. — 6 years ago
Meaty nose with a touch of wet slate. Deep purple-red color and thin legs on the glass. Light red fruit and powerful raisins with a spicy mouth feel. Rich, peppery flavor and a long dry finish. — 6 years ago
Dark, opaque red. Some funk on the nose with blackberries and red jam behind it. Rich mouth feel with red fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and limestone minerals at the clean finish. — 6 years ago
Dark purple color. Nose of plums, cherry and pasture. Leather and allspice plus red fruit on the tongue. Slightly bitter finish but a good mouth feel. Very plucky table wine if you like big, bold reds. Under $10.00 a bottle. — 6 years ago
Deep opaque color and heavy legs on the glass. Red fruit, plums an cinnimon nose. Plum cherry and prune flavors expand in mouth. Some spice in a long clean finish. Great on its own for serious drinking in front of a crackling fire. — 6 years ago
Deep color for a blend. Awesome rich and smooth mouth feel with heavy dark fruit: plums, raisins and berries. Must be heavy on the Zin and Syrah in this iconic California red. Bought it on a whim but will go back for more. — 6 years ago

Rich red color and tangy berry nose. Rusty minerals and red fruit in an immature but full palate. Strong presence of alcohol and slight bitterness on the spicy finish. A honking great value for the price. — 6 years ago
