After a mild nose of vanilla and mineral, the first sip reveals sweet cherry and a follow on of green olives. The finish of cherry and strawberries lasts for hours. It smells like a wet chicken impaled on a rusty railroad spike. But it has a smooth, sassy palate with sweet and dry notes shifting around your mouth. Lots of floral and some bitter green olives in the mix. Gentle tannins come out and day boo in the long, mineral and spice finish. An unusual and complex wine best tippled on its own. — 6 years ago
