Val di Suga (Angelini)
Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Black and red cherry fruit aromas, dried cran and raisin, display a light tangerine, sage, aloe and pepper dust. Sweet tobacco, and spot on measures of cedar and smoke. Dried cherry, pointedly tart raspberry, black cherry, cocoa, coffee, and tarragon round out the palate. Juicy in places; lean on the pyrotechnics. Balanced in a word.

From 3 vineyards, Ruby with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry, raspberry and licorice with notes of pepper spice and tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ savory finish ending with tobacco and cacao wrapped in an earthy spice character. Tasting Sample!

2015? It’s like driving a Ferrari in a school zone.
Honestly... there should be a law about selling Italian wine before they are ready to drink.
This is fantastic... but should be ready for Leon’s 19th.

Needed a ton of time to open up. Once it did it was pretty good, that being said, I preferred other #Brunello to this one.

I tried a Brunello a few years back that I absolutely loved that I didn't get the name of, and have been chasing the dragon ever since. I found it in this bottle. Incredibly flavorful and bright fruit flavors, hint of tannins, not overly sweet at all.
