Confident broud shoulders with just the right amount of leesy aged funk.

This is bangin!!! Rich, toasty, and honeyed. Orange peel and lemon oil. Soft, with a beautifully mature bubble at 16 years old.

Absolutely spectacular wine! Rich, unctuous, and ripping acid.

Rich toasty nose (decade on the lees!), salty, flinty, mineral driven, earthy/truffley. Would be great with mushroom risotto

Extremely rich with almost cotton candy-like evaporation in mouth. Seemingly softer than the 2002 vintage.

Pineapple cake, flint, pollen, poached pear, blossoms, marzipan, ginger. Zippy acid counteracts a rather vinous and weighty mouthfeel. Love the notes the Chenin brings with some age on it.

Maybe my favorite bubbles outside Champagne, made in the classic Methode Champenoise. A thick nose of flinty smoke, almond, yeasty bread, and some gingerbread. The palate adds ripe lemon and lime, with clearly present acidity and limestone mineral backbone. My 3rd taste of this in the last year. #sparkling #cheninblanc #vouvray
