Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry with earthy herbs and citrus notes. Fine integrated tannins on medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice!

It’s really good, but I wonder if we have a bad bottle? There seems to be some prickly effervescence that doesn’t go away after being open for a day. I’m going to look past it, but I’ll come back to future bottles we have.

Medium rubied color with initial Pinot funk smells: mushrooms, potpourri, cherry, and earth. Has a minerally zing to it, tea, and cranberry. Drinks a little warm.

I’ll sit on my other 2021s for another year or two and try again. This might just be too young.

Slightly cloudy appearance, dull not bright. Discovered tiny pieces of solid matter in the glass so seems unfined and unfiltered. Definitely better uncorked than Coravinned, needs to breath a little. With Coravin there’s some reductive notes and vegetable notes. Medium(-) aromas that remind me of stems and fermentation (tank sample) definitely som stems in the ferment. Warm alcohol on the nose and on the palate. Still, good balance between the intensity and the richness of ripe red fruit and the acidity. A little too much alcohol sensation for me. #eolaamityhills #oregon #oregonwine #pinotnoir

Elegant, tight, and refined. Been a long time since I tasted and want to give these some age for legit assessment. But definitely cracking.

Sublime from nose to perfectly drying tannins. Burgundian in its stemmy aromatic cherry and red flowers, silky smooth and benefited nicely from a long decant.

light translucent ruby fading to pale watery rim; red cherry, mushrooms, rose petals; bright red fruit, bit of spice; medium body, medium+ acidity, light tannins, 13% ABV; sourced from famed Seven Springs Vineyard planted in 1984, built around a core of own-rooted Pommard and Wadenswil clones planted in iron-rich, rocky, volcanic soils, farmed biodynamically; lovely, nicely balanced; $35

Just picked up the 2016 Evening Land Seven Springs Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.

On the nose there there is good fruit of cherry, raspberry, cranberry, plum, cola, vanilla, rose petal and dusty soil.

On the palate I am getting strawberry, cherry, cranberry, some tartness, mushroom, spice, minerality and earth.

The wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium fine polished tannins that lead into a medium to long finish. I never get tired of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. I can have this any time and with any food. I hope everyone's week has started off good and we can hope the rest of the week will be wonderful. Please be safe and stay strong. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Medium reddish purple with tawny colored rim. Muted nose of red berries, potpourri, and dusty cedar. Cherry and raspberry evident on the palate with medium length finish. Light medium body with medium+ acid and 13.75% alcohol. It is fading a bit and would drink now.
