Had this bottle at the Bird Cafe in Pt Arena. They have very reasonable corkage fees. This is a very velvety dense Pinot. Loved it, so glad I started buying from winery in early 2000, think this 2014 could go another 15-20 years.
Slow to open, but lasting through the 3 hour dinner, wish bottle was bigger — 14 days ago
Labeled “Chehalem Mtns”, but it’s sourced from Arborbrook. Dark and sumptuous; more guts than Anne’s Willamette cuvées from the Van Duzer and Dundee Hills. Boysenberry, blackberry, and just a hint of spice. Balanced and relaxed. If there’s a better $20 Oregon PN out there, please let me know. — 20 days ago
Plums cherries and savory notes. Some tobacco on the nose. Will age nice but good now. Excellent wine. — 9 days ago
Light out- extracted burgundy. Cherry and raspberry fruits on the nose with a touch of celery and dried leaves. Palate is bright but not tight, lush but not sticky. Probably has another couple years but drinking really well right now. — 8 days ago
Floral and citrus notes on the nose. Some crushed stone fruits on the palate and a nice clean finish with zippy acidity and no oak — 18 days ago
