Berries boxed in cedar - I could sniff this all day.
Alas, I want more - medium bodied, an incredible harmony of bold red berry fruit, Himalayan salt, cedar tannins and interesting orange zest at the very, last whisper of the wines embrace. Glad I let this set for a couple of years. Great producer, wonderful area, the Ribero del Duero..

Superb!!! So pleased with this. Last bottle I had was in 2014, at which point it was quite closed, austere and lacking balance. How that has all changed. Today, everything works in harmony - beautifully resolves tannins, mellow acidity, ripe fruit, and tons of spice. Paired with a heavily seasoned 12oz sirloin cooked with chorizo, which couldn’t have worked better.
