Researching wines for our trip to Spain this fall for Bodega visits. So far Ribera is better than I was expecting (or have experienced). This is a big wine but by no means a brute. Better the second day as the intensity has calmed and the wine has rounded out more into balance. The nose is more elegant with more clarity and focus, same with the palate. Day 1 this was an 88, day 2 to the complexity and harmony is way up, thus imo better. #ribera #spain — 9 years ago
