Sep 16th, 2015Researching wines for our trip to Spain this fall for Bodega visits. So far Ribera is better than I was expecting (or have experienced). This is a big wine but by no means a brute. Better the second day as the intensity has calmed and the wine has rounded out more into balance. The nose is more elegant with more clarity and focus, same with the palate. Day 1 this was an 88, day 2 to the complexity and harmony is way up, thus imo better. #ribera #spain

Mar 13th, 2017Just wow. Didn't know what to expect from this Ribera, but was pleasantly surprised. Perfect balance between the roughness of a classic Ribera and a smoother, more modern wine. Loved it!

Nov 25th, 2016Very good representation of both Ribera and Tempranillo. Aromas a bit shy at first but come along as the wine stands (at least the 2010). Flavors are present from the get go. Very well balanced and all around smooth.
