Big and bold. But still sense of elegance

Tight and sinewy. Slightly meaty and abundantly floral. The palate is punctuated by coarse tannin and palpable mineral. This is a baby and will benefit from some years in the cellar, in my mind.

Researching wines for our trip to Spain this fall for Bodega visits. So far Ribera is better than I was expecting (or have experienced). This is a big wine but by no means a brute. Better the second day as the intensity has calmed and the wine has rounded out more into balance. The nose is more elegant with more clarity and focus, same with the palate. Day 1 this was an 88, day 2 to the complexity and harmony is way up, thus imo better. #ribera #spain

Still going strong. Should be better in a few years.

Just wow. Didn't know what to expect from this Ribera, but was pleasantly surprised. Perfect balance between the roughness of a classic Ribera and a smoother, more modern wine. Loved it!

Very good representation of both Ribera and Tempranillo. Aromas a bit shy at first but come along as the wine stands (at least the 2010). Flavors are present from the get go. Very well balanced and all around smooth.
