Domaine Christophe Pichon

La Comtesse en Côte Blonde Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2007

That great feeling. When you call your dealer ... and he tells you the right drug to take. This was amazing. Spicy aromatic and so savory. I had with a steak and it just hummed. I feel like it could have waited another 30 yrs and been just fine #infanticide ? — 3 years ago

Opened without sufficient planning. We were ready to drink long before this was ready to be drank. Started to show its immense potential after a few hours in the decanter but I'm still not willing to give it a number. #infanticide — 4 years ago

It was really good @Bart Hansen but I never got a chance to really see all its glory. Hopefully Uncle Bobby will pull another one out of his cellar soon

I love this winery @Sean Herriott. What went wrong here, Sean? Was it approached before its time? 😕

Absolutely. I love Leoville and Langoa Barton, and I had to try the latter's 2012. This will be a completely overlooked vintage for the left bank, and yes we drank it way too young.
