Very distinguished and structured. Thick and savory there’s smoke, rocks, dark fruit, saltiness. Quite cool blooded but there’s lighter floral notes at the edges. There’s a dry slight Souness to the finish. Poised and long. A very good wine.

Ready to go at 15 years. Smokey nose with palate of tar, leather, dark fruit and bing cherry. Smooth tannins and integrated acid inducing a long finish. Really special with smoked duck and chanterelle mushrooms over bucatini.

Opened without sufficient planning. We were ready to drink long before this was ready to be drank. Started to show its immense potential after a few hours in the decanter but I'm still not willing to give it a number. #infanticide
