Kashmir AKA there reserve. Built for the ages. Gravel, cedar and dark berries fill the nose. Creme De Cassis, white pepper, black raspberry and graphite integrate well on the palate. Strumming through they entire sip. Finish reverbs the hint of white pepper again with a black licorice note.

Oct 1st, 2017Wow. Dark, rich, complex. This wine looked like Petite Sirah when I poured it, dark, inky, rich. While still very young this wine was beautifully complex and exceptionally expressive of the terroir. Black fruit and briar with side notes of leather and a hint of cedar. Big, and young but still a pleasure to drink . Very well made and built to last. My guess after this tasting is that it would be at its peak between 2026-2030.

Brought out the closer to secure the win for this pre-TG wine fest. Of course it did not disappoint. Harmony, strength, balance, depth and suppleness all wrapped up in a single bottle!!!

Aug 4th, 2020Deep purple, opaque in the center; thick wine with heavy heavy legs, good amount of sediment that stained my hands purple when I removed the cork. The aroma on the nose is intoxicating - it pulls you in with deep berry and cherry notes, then dried fruit and baking spices giving it a fruit cake like quality; further still are subtle notes of bell pepper cedar and tobacco. On the palette is reminds me tomatoes and cherries roasted over cedar with cinnamon.

Seriously great cab. Silky smooth and delicious fruit. Light on tannins and a bit jammy. You could enjoy this for a long time.
