Silver Eagle Vineyard Chardonnay 2014

Seriously Vin Diesel on open. Took a long time to blow off and open up. Apricot, lanolin, almond. Long, long, finish. Very dry Riesling like. — 5 days ago

Brut Ambonnay Grand Cru Champagne Blend Rosé

V-DAY bubbles, a delicious cliche!
Orange and copper pink hues, a thick mousse and steady bubbles.
The nose was minerally, some hints of citrus and a yeasty, leasy note.
The palate was bright and juicy, at a certain point when the out warned up the wine the flavors popped with blood orange, pink grapefruit, sea spray, mineral and biscuit flavors. A fantastic rose
#champagne that is powerful, it blows the doors open in complexity, depth and length. #eglyouriet

Cuvée des Grands Côtés Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes Coteaux Champenois Pinot Noir 2011

I don't usually attach a number to wines. But this was a perfect wine. Unbelievable balance between hedonistic richness and gorgeous minerality and structure. The best bottle of wine I've opened in a LONG time. #eglyouriet #ambonnay #pinotparadise #grandcru #rarecreature — 4 years ago

Had the 2007 a year or so ago and I can still taste it. Incredible.

Vieillisement Prolongé (V.P) Extra Brut Champagne

My first VP, reminded me of Krug MV with a denser texture. The VP stands for Vieillisement Prolonge, meaning prolonged aging on lees in bottle. In most cases this is 6-7 years of aging on the lees.
Intense gold color and a fine mousse.
The nose is rich and deep with honey, caramel apples, toasted brioche and roasted nuts.
The palate is rich and full bodied, a bitter almond and crazy laser beam of acidity slices right through the density to bring the palate freshness. Time in bottle should round this out nicely, it's a beast! Typically about 70% Pinoit Noir and 30% Chardonnay this was disgordged in July 2012.
