Yellow apple nose, crisp, with sharp grassy notes, apricot, white flower, walnut and a prominent minerality and a slight creamy undertone. Gold-Yellow color, though not amber, with hints of green towards the edges. Sharp acidity and minerality on the palate, dry, with prominent apricots, Meyer lemon, slight vegetal notes, with a lingering, nutty finish. — 10 months ago
Huge concentration of flavors in this glass! @Tom Casagrande pretty much nailed it! I am taking the easy way out, putting on some classical 🎶 🎻 and enjoy! 😉 — 10 months ago
Wine is bright red, on nose its red fruits, earthy, oak, dry tobacco, floral. On palate, wine is plum, berries, oakiness. Acidity is medium plus, tannic, its shows strong charachter or nebbiolo and merlot. Firm and elegant structure. Enjoy 2029+. Cheers! — 10 months ago

This has been my WOTN in blind tastings before and yet again Ausone came out on top for me. What a wine! Dark cherries, cassis, licorice, lavender, fine wood. It has everything. Tension, texture and a weightless silky sensation that is so irresistible. You can tell a lot of effort has been put it to making this wine. Very luxurious. The vineyards are planted with a a crazy high vine density of 12 600 vines per hectare. The quality of the fruit is through the roof. — 10 months ago
