A blend of Belle Glos: 38% Las Alturas, 32% Clark & Telephone, 30% Dairyman. It tastes just how you'd expect, heavy on the oak. Dark and lush. Should be a holiday wine. 14.6%

This is really good. Apparently I had this on the Memorial Day fishing trip, but bottles were flying everywhere so I forgot about it.
Delicious dark fruit and a leathery mouthfeel.

Delectable seems to be having troubles again. This wine is so young, I let it breathe for an hour while I prepped dinner, and it was still pretty tight. After dinner it began to open up with bright red fruit and a hint of florals on the nose. Also some faint brett.
Flavors include tart strawberries, blueberries, cedar and pipe tobacco. Nice, long ending. Not very complex, but well structured and delicious. And a great value!

Chateau Latour Demons! Scary!
The quality of this wine is up there. Very satisfying medley of lively fruit (blackberry and plum), mid-palate spice, new leather, and silky lingering tannins. A pleasure to drink.

Bashful nose, I smell some florals and woodsy stuff. Big flavors! Lush and dark, but light weight in the mouth. Plums, overripe strawberries, cocoa, cedar, licorice, a bit of mint. Lots going on, and a real bargain at $17. Decanter says 95 points. Let's not get crazy!

This is a workable Bordeaux on a budget. Fresh fruit, a touch of leather and smoke, and fine tannins. I'd pair this with just about anything off the grill.
