Schöner Preis-Leistungs-Bordeaux! Geht immer…👍 — 8 months ago
Superb for the price! Deep black currant and smooth. — 9 months ago
2016 vintage. I prefer the 2016 to the 2015, more fruit to cover the chalkiness. Probably the most impressive Castillon I've ever tasted. Bright, perfectly ripe red fruit and fine grained tannin, with a complexity rarely seen in Castillon ( Château Clarisse is another one to watch). Abv. 14,5 %. — a year ago
A nice compliment to our pork dish! This bottle went quickly! — 6 years ago

In mag, at a perfect spot. Velvety tannins, herbaceous, prunes. — 10 months ago
2018 vintage. Last tasted 6.11.24 (9.3), 2.18.22 (9.2) and 10.20.21 (9.2). Just getting better and better. From the peeps that deliver Le Pin and L'If. Absolutely shredding for the QPR. Picking it up at under $30 USD a btl. Unavailable locally so hadda undergo a quest/journey to pick up a decent amount. Quest/journey is about to start yet again...04.15.25. — a year ago
Brough over by my neighbor. Not bad. Would have liked to try with food. — 4 years ago
Amazing. It's fruity, but I've felt only a sweet, ripe plum. But the best is the rest: spicy aromas with leather and smoke like from smokehouse. I simply love it! — 7 years ago
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This estate owes its name to Connetable Talbot, the English general & governor of the province of Guyenne who was defeated at the famous Battle of Castillon in 1453. Deep Ruby color, with aromas of black fruits, herb, tobacco and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plums and black currants with cacao and tobacco spice, on a well balanced frame. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with fruit, earthy spice and cedar character. Nice! — 8 months ago
