Chalk, hibiscus, raspberry smell, bitter, grape fraun taste, wild raspberry, leather, chalk, the end is chalk (yay!), ruby red color — 4 years ago
Yay. Alpine herby ricola hoo hoo. I hope my digestion goes well as a result. — a year ago
remind of muscadet or lees-aged koshu (it is sur-lie; koshu is Japanese grape) or like a really solid pinot grigio. but enjoyable in its delicacy. I had read it was "like Oregon Cali" chard - so a less fruit butteroak thing - so was impressed with its subtlety
Day2 melded new world flavors and hit all my style points. It aged 4years overnight in a good way! Jumped from 9.1 to 9.5! Yay auction gems. Looking for more — 4 years ago
Basic, solid Conero Montepulciano. Somewhat reticent nose of warm gravel, crushed rock, and dark berries. The potentially coarse nature of Montepulciano is well managed on the palate. There are dark, medium intensity flavors of black cherry, smoky gravel, and underbrush. Nice texture and acid balance. Only 13%, yay! Nicely done. — a year ago
Shocked how well this value Bordeaux (bought this for $18!) has held up after a decade and a half. Big fruit and mouthfeel, held up magically against a marinated steak, and I continue to reach for my glass. Now the whole bottle is gone - who drank it? Me! All of it. Yay wine! — 3 years ago

Sometimes you take a blind chance and get rewarded.
N: Cedar, Rose, Woodsmoke(appropriately),Liquorice, tar. Chocolate.
P:Med bodied and not overly wooded(yay!) Slavonian botti for 36 mo.excellent acid tannin balance, lots of sous-bois, tomato, mint,
Chocolate. meat. As it airs, the palate is richer. Nice work here.
I looked them up and see the Riserva spends half it’s time in smaller barriques. No thank you. Without gloss, this really shines.
Deeelicious on a smoky night.
