The current West Coast IPA standard. Consistently fantastic in the 16oz can but catching it on draft at one of the various Pizza Port properties takes it up just a notch with slightly less dank and super clean high notes on the initial draw. Essential San Diego County brewha. — 5 years ago
Wow! Katie and I taste a lot of Vermentino. It’s her favorite ❤️. San Felo ‘le stoppie’ (Maremma) was first wine we imported to PA. Troon 2017(Applegate Valley) is Outstanding! Mark at West End Wine (Boulder, CO) recommended. Thank You! After seeing Craig Camp again at SLOW Wine in Denver, it was a logical choice. Soft and velvety, the sapid finish urges you towards another bite, then another swirl and sip. Just the way we like it. Great price point too( under $20 on sale) 😊. #Grazie5 — 7 years ago

Stone IPA is a classic West Coast IPA from San Diego the Mecca of many great beers. This bold, hop forward IPA will never be mistaken for a more refined East Coaster. With its absolutely tantalizing hop bitterness, piney tones and vibrancy this is a big bold awesome IPA. If you like IPAs like I do add this to your list. Touring the many wonderful San Diego breweries is on my bucket list. @Bill Bender Bill this one is for you Cheers 🍻 — 8 years ago
My first introduction to Santa Fe Brewing was a couple years ago on the West Bank (Harvey, not Hebron) by the best homebrewer I know. I had never experienced a Black IPA, and it was an eye-opener. Since that experience, I’ve come to understand that Santa Fe Brewing Co. is not only the first craft brewery in New Mexico, they’re also the state’s oldest brewery, and in fact, they’re now even the largest brewer in state.
The 7K IPA started as a seasonal beer, but was recently added to Santa Fe’s year-round repertoire, and deservedly so. The name references the elevation of Santa Fe (the city and the brewery). It is, indeed, an elevated, modern-styled, West Coast influenced, IPA. Enormously aromatic, with hoppy pine and citrus peel, followed by a juicy and tart white grapefruit. The mouthfeel is extraordinarily smooth, especially when you consider the abv is 7.0% — 8 years ago

Fieldwork Koalaty Time double ipa. Enigma, galaxy, and Vic secret hops. West coast stylish, lots of melon and some tropical notes but excellent pine and bitterness. This is up there for one of the best double ipas I’ve had. Very easy to drink but complex. The aftertaste is fascinating. Cantaloupe and like an earthy flavor I can’t quite pin down. — 6 years ago

Currants, dried strawberries, and dark cherries, with spice, oak, and I think even a little cocoa, maybe orange peel too. This is darker and deeper than a lot of west coast Pinots. The acidity is pretty strong and balanced the dark fruit well. Tannins are moderate to light. I had this with salmon, roasted potatoes, and cabbage cooked in duck fat. The salmon was farmed and a little too light for the wine, but cabbage in duck fat was a treat with this. — 8 years ago

West coat Pinot Noir for the win. Very nice and enjoyable — 8 years ago
Pretty good for a can of wine. I saw the ad at Whole Foods and thought I'd give it a try. Nice fruits rounds out with oak and a medium dry finish. This has been the best non bottle wine I've tried. I hope they start serving this on southwest or Hawaiian airlines. I might start drinking wine on my flights again. — 9 years ago
2017 vintage.
Similkameen Valley is to the west of Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
The soil is very stony.
If you look at the label of Vanessa wines, it is an actual picture of the vineyards soil. Think galets from southern Rhone.
Deep, dark ruby red colour. Dark red fruit, raspberries and crème de cassis on the nose.
Big, rich and full bodied. Co-fermented with a small amount of Viognier.
So smooth with dark raspberries, black plums, meaty and black pepper.
All fruit is estate owned, hand picked and small batch fermented. — 3 years ago

Solid drop. Just enough woody notes to be delicious. Very much hitting the mixed herb notes as advertised. — 3 years ago
