Look, this is “not bad” in terms of wine - but actually quite good in terms of a Shiraz. Far less spice than I am used to (thank God), but still a little stronger than I like. — 6 months ago
Surprisingly (and welcomingly) smooth for a Barossa Shiraz. Plenty of dark fruit notes to smell and taste here. This is a damn good wine. — 7 months ago
Lovely creamy elements and port-like characteristics so age has treated this drop well. Thick blood yellow edge and vanilla aroma, balanced perfectly with the tannins. — a year ago
I’ll be honest ... I needed a white wine for cooking and this one was in the fridge - so naturally the Chef needed to try a glass as well! Exceptionally light drinking - would probably still be A+ on a summer afternoon, but as an evening beverage on a cold winter night - it becomes good rather than great. Yellow Tail Merlot - Probably a bit too much spice for my palate (and a merlot), but the plum inspiration makes this drinkable. — 5 years ago
