Block 8 Pinot Noir 2014

Stated to open up nicely after 30 minutes, should have decanted. I think the wine is at its peak and should be drunk now, starting to get a bit of leather and prune elements. Nice cherry, raspberry aromas. — 23 days ago

Hirsch Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Has a brown tinge. 14.3%. Smells sweet and fruit driven.
A very nice well settled wine for a stupid 32$ on sale usually 70$ sold out in hours. Hirsch Vineyard yet a very different style than Jasmins Hirschs! 2% higher %. More Cali than Burgh. Blackberry compote. Very juicy and a little hot. Bitey. Not my style but great juice!

San Andreas Fault Pinot Noir 2017

Tried this again after a few months break. This time the wine is much better. Had with steak, broccoli and baked potato first night and drank as aperitif the next day. Wine opened up beautifully. Pinot w fineness — 24 days ago
