Nose has yeasty stone fruits, Bing cherry, plum, fruit juice saturated oak, yellow raisin and fresh lemon+lime peel.

Palate has medium sourness, black cherry, ripe plum, ripe nectarine, red wine vinegar, medium funk, minimal oak influence.

Very nice stuff here.

I need a case of this stat! It's one thing to know that this is the love child of Hervé Souhaut and René-Jean Dard, it's another to know it tastes of one too. The gamay lightens and brightens the Syrah. Add a zippy tingle and some slightly chewy tannins and this is just pure fun to drink! Thanks to @Carla Hine for the recommendation! The slightest bit of reduction that quickly blew off to reveal a beautiful nose of florals, peach and honey. On the palate it makes its presence known but tiptoeing not stomping. Wonderful concentration that reveals layers of fruit and herbs. At this stage I would call it a precocious child. — 7 years ago

***Clocking in at 11% abv, this sweet rose` wine is dangerous due to how delicious it is, thus making it impossible to stop at just one glass. Another PA wine win for this gal. Even my friend who adamantly claimed she hated all types of wine ended up falling hard for this wine. I was able to locate this wine in a select few PA Wine & Spirits stores in my stomping grounds in the southern metro area of PGH. Oceanic agar suspends a muted, pickled peach and matches with fruit bat guano, pine chips, coffee, cardamom and white pepper aromas. Will take exception to Antonio’s suggestion that this is the shy middle child - this opened up beautifully on day two into the same cherry, pomegranate, rose petal, and mint nose that Antonio got from Ama, with zest and mouthwatering acidity but no sharpness. Tannins are soft and the palate adds a touch of barley sugar. This will definitely come out of its shell, if given time. — 8 years ago
