Just lovely. Elegant, haunting Margaux fruit, framed in a fine, velvety frame. — 6 years ago
This is just beautiful, probably at pick. 2002 is underrated here and Lafite's strict selection allows for a quintessential Lafite combination of power and breadth with refinement and true elegance. That's what we drink wine for. — 7 years ago
This was oxidized, but still charming with intense dried apricots, lively acidity and a long finish. — 7 years ago
A sweeter take on St. Joseph. Lovely spice and luscious fruit. — 6 years ago
Just at the right spot. Deep but not heavy, complex, refined — 7 years ago
Excellent bargain, for a 2010 Bordeaux, probably nearing peak. Beautiful truffles on the nose. Smooth tannins, typical currant fruit, a bit short. — 7 years ago
This is so easy to drink. Captivating, pithy fruit, perfectly poised and balanced. One can’t have enough. — 6 years ago
Ripe but not jammy. Full bodied, massive structure, refined tannins. Probably at pick now. — 6 years ago
Mind blowing for it's freshness at such age. Not nearly over the pick. I haven't taken proper notes but this very impressive, if less hedonistic than either Lafite or Lynch-Bages at the same tasting. No rush with my 86' then... — 7 years ago

Stewed fruit, overripe. Quite off putting. — 6 years ago
