Golden hue. Plus body and medium acidity. Aromas and flavors of apricot, golden raisins, honey, marmalade, and orange. Jammy and sweet, like orange soda without the fizz. Absurdly drinkable. — 2 months ago

May be the best Malbec I’ve ever had. Smooth blackberry jam with ripe dark fruit, less bite than typical Malbecs. Would buy again. — 2 years ago
Caymus-Wagoner family signature on this fine wine with Australian grapes and Caymus California wine-making. Blend of Grenache, Shiraz and other grapes of Australia, shipped to U.S. in chilled containers, reportedly maintaining freshness…aged in French Oak, bottled in 2018 - vintage is simply Red Schooner 1. In any event, the process produced a rich, full-bodied, big fruit but balanced wine with managed tannins…many attributes…better than several of Caymus own labeled wines. — 2 months ago
Pretty smooth. Enjoyed at East end gathering — 4 months ago
Good with a spicy curry on a hot summer evening. Sweet on the nose, but the blend makes it really nice. Melon but not too sweet. — 8 months ago
