Expensive but worth it. This Bordeaux is just right now. Paradigmatic Pauillac with deep brooding flavor and bitter finish. Tannins are perfectly smooth. Perfect with steak or on its own while listening to music while contemplating the meaning of life. All of the leather, earth, and tar one can expect from a fine Pauillac and under $100. — 2 months ago
2022 vintage. Not quite as integrated as the same vintage Meursault VV offering. This has more overt focus on citrus fruit currently. Feel like this wine just needs 6 months to tie up some loose ends and then it'll be a no-brainer. That citrus fruit will still feature, just not as prominently. 05.23.25. — 7 days ago
17. As it should be, but not more. Hope next bottle more exciting. — 18 days ago
Nice for a pop n’ pour. Decent QPR. Blackberry, tobacco, picked up some mint. Tannins that made me want to aerate this more but they were not overpowering. — a month ago
Strangely oxed day one, glorious day two. Maybe it’s me? — 2 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and flinty floral notes, from a 1ha parcel next to La Moutonne that was planted in 1970. On the palate flavors of crisp apple, pear and ripe citrus with notes of white flowers and flinty spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and noted mineral spice. Nice! Still young!
