Une Chartreuse

L. Garnier

Liqueur Fabriquée Par Les Pères Chartreux

NV. Color an impossibly light emerald green. A high, airy nose that flirtatiously disregards the soft tissue of the sinuses and impresses the cranial cavity. Possessing more finesse than should be possible on this earthly planet. The standard green Chartreuse is my fave liqueur but this enters a different dimension. Easily the best liquid or solid I’ve tasted in 2025. 05.05.25 — 9 months ago

Wow! Amazing praise. Do you drink this on ice?

Added a slight amount of mineral water and was still fantastic. the review was based on drinking it neat. I don’t believe this product is being shipped to the USA in the last year or so. With tariffs involved? Def not.

Robe noire

Chartreuse Jaune

Recent bottling.
My first ‘jaune’. Very nice. But I prefer the ‘vert’… 😊

— 3 years ago

Blind tasting lunch 2009 theme. Nose with strong sugar and sweetness impression that we find on the round and fairly fat palate, a little bit of acidity to balnce it but a finish with some alcool and residual sugar, clearly identified as F. Cotat. 88-89

Elixir Végétal de la Grande-Chartreuse

I think this is the second time I’ve nabbed some precious drops of this digestif from my friend’s liquor cabinet. I love it. So complex and mouth coating. — 7 months ago

Missing green Chartreuse? This is probably your best alternative. It does show a bit more citrus and vanilla as opposed to savory/mountain herbs. — 3 years ago

Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2017

Wow! Superbe vin. 93-94

Grogeous bottle, dark fruit, spices, a touch of oak still. Full bodied butmwith such a superb texture, silky, classy and very lengthy.
