Yep, all of that…vintage 2019, beyond nice Barbera D’ Asti…among the best of the offerings from notable Italian - Piedmont - producer…Marchesi Della Rocchetta, probably a measly few hundred years history as are many Italian producers. Previously rated highly, virtually unchanged from vintage to vintage, an excellent everyday vino for the Everyday Club. Balance, balance, full-flavor… — 3 years ago
2020 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Blessed with richness up front and grip on the back end without obvious flaws or gaping palate holes. A bit of something for everyone and at decent pricing. In consideration for future...considerations. 01.22.25. — 4 months ago
D-friggin-licious. Light body, beautiful burgundy color, and light spice. Really easy sipping and great drinking. — 2 years ago
Deep purple in color; raspberries, cherries and a hint of something floral on the nose; medium acidity; smooth tannins; tastes like wet slate, pomegranate, and strawberry with a long refreshing finish. Really good. This is my first Barbera d' Asti. — 2 years ago

What a perfect epitome of juicy freshness!
Dark, sour cherry galore with a touch of mulberry and a hint of (dried) orange peel. A flowery whiff adds complexity. Much better on day 2 when the bubble gum fruitiness blows away.
On the palate this is light to medium bodied, with a nice (light) tannin structure and juicy acidity. Pure & perfectly balanced.
Not overly complex. Just joyful, bright & juicy.
Perfect with a bowl of pasta or antipasti. — a month ago
