Deep, dark and contemplative. Fresh and lively nose, but the fruit is quite restrained and serious. Black cherry, prune, vanilla bean and black pepper with dusty, astringent tannins. Long dry finish of hay, dried herbs and some of that bitterness. Drinking it on the cooler side. Feels right to sip this while listening to Sketches of Spain. — 2 months ago

Great, but the 2018 better - a little more horsepower. — 2 months ago
Good right out the bottle and stayed that way for a couple of days. What a nice grape! Very underrated. Medium body with a bit of spice. Sweet with a balanced tannin. Day 2 showed more acidity which improved it further. Excellent vino. — 2 months ago

Vintage 2016 | Stubborn when opened, so I put half in a decanter for four hours. That is suitable to give a good dinner experience. Cedar, chocolate impression, round taste. Paired with ribeye. And cheese. Nice effort. | Diam-corked — a month ago
