2004 vintage. Decanted with very little sed and tasted after 45 mins and 1.5 hours. Initial richness in the frontal palate but the mid-palate decided to nap. Finish glided along without speed bumps. Really nice but not great. 7.19.24. — 7 days ago
@Doug Powers I purchased a case of that for $32 a bottle direct from Australia. The first 5-6 years they drank exactly as you described. I thought time would help them calm down so I stashed them away and they all went downhill. Happy your bottles turned out well.
2018 vintage. Above-average structure with complimentary fruit. Nicely made. Medium/medium-heavy bod. Plenty of punch and thrust for the new vintage, Napa Cab fans and enuff stuffing to go all 15 rounds for the historians/pathologists. 4.27.24. — 3 months ago
