Cabernet Franc Merlot blend. Absolutely stunning. Layers of fruit and spice all harmoniously interwoven with soft gravelly tannin. Wow! — 4 months ago

Cattail creek wine dinner. Characteristics of pencil lead, tobacco, black cherry, and liquorish. The palate has a lifted acidity and spicy tannins but don't obscure the fruit expression. Paired with petite ribeye en persillade. — 2 months ago

Possibly one of the best Cabernet Sauvignons I have had from California in the $20 range. Depth, character, body along with a symphony of dark fruit and vanilla aromas. Add that up with some silky mild tannins makes this Paso Robles cab a definite addition to my wine rotation. — 7 months ago
AMAZING! This is well above my price range, but was a wise choice for a splurge bottle. Deep structure, blackberry, vanilla and leather. This is a super-premium cab and worth the C note... — 4 years ago

The description: A complex bouquet and palate with scents and flavours of black currant and dark cherry, wild flowers and red berry fruits then a stone and mineral silty soils quality . Youthful, varietal and complex. Even on day 2 the wine has a youthful taut appeal, flavours reflect the bouquet with a youthful energy and mix of ripe and tart fruits including cherry, cranberry, plum and black currant. An abundance of fine tannins and medium+ acidity, a wine that will continue to develop over the next 3-5 years. This wine presents best on day 2 which is a strong indication that it will age well. Best drinking from 2025 through 2033+.
The opinion: This is not usually the style of Pinot noir I like, but this is very good. — 21 days ago
