Aged ten months in half French oak. Aromas are lovely and perfumed, blue and blackberry with Paso earth. The palate offers dark fruit with an earthy overlay, fabulous acidity and very firm tannins. It paired perfectly with lamb in a blueberry cab reduction with roasted veggies.

The ‘17 vintage just came in. Seems way early. Anyway, exciting to try, and it already shows nicely. Cassis on the nose and nice texture. This will be a beautiful wine down the road.

Lots of dark leather and cedar notes to balance the dark cherry flavor. Really solid cab with extra earthiness. Great with some butcher cut steaks.

This is very good bargain in the $25 range. This and the J Lohr Hilltop are favorites in this price range.

Not bad. Can’t beat this at Costco for $19.99!

Smooth finish, not as strong/heavy as a normal Cabernet. Paired well with salad, soup, meat, pasta and salon conversation!
