Nice nose with some alcohol. Delicious flavors of cherry jam and nice tannins. I love ripasso-style wines and this was a good one. Surprised at how good this is with minimal decant! Qualifier is that I can probably easily replace this wonderful gift from my brother if need be!
Mondavi is an Icon and I love his wines! I am getting eucalyptus, black licorice, dark chocolate, dark brambly fruit, macerated cherry, vanilla and cedar! Pretty great on PnP..when your brain is screaming "you will be sorry" at you! — 3 years ago
