Great one. Just right body — 5 months ago
Smells like: steel wool, lime sorbet, whey, and rain on a tin roof.
Tastes like: white peonies, Cala Cala pith, caramelized pear, electric
Good for: flashback and flash forward scenes in movies about technology, rapini and anchovy with polenta. — 25 days ago
Intense, brooding, and complex nose. Dark cherry, plum, sandalwood, and charcuterie. The palate is med/full bodied, med acidity and delivers quite opulent sour cherry and plum fruit. Smoke and chocolate on the end palate. Very long. A bit heavy relative to a burgundy, but the flavour profile, complexity, and length do not disappoint. — 7 months ago
I think the 2016 is even better! — 2 years ago
Spiced plum, red currant, dark berry flavors, takes a while to open up, but once it does, it expresses beautifully. — a month ago
A pale crimson with a tawny edge - almost transparent. A high quality Pinot Noir from Canterbury wizards Marcel Giesen and Sherwyn Veldhuizen. As I said last tasting note - pale but powerful. As good a new World Pinot Noir as you will find, and this is Bell Hill’s second wine. I can’t improve on the previous Delectable note from October 6 2023. These wines from Bell Hill aren’t cheap but are a lot cheaper than good Burgundy. — 4 months ago

Stunning SB: more tropical on the nose, vivid passion fruit, guava but great complexity in that it also had that classic gooseberry & grassiness, some mineral too. Really wild, zesty acidity, and a delight to drink. Went down way too quickly! — 9 days ago
