Tasted blind: Dried tobacco, dried cranberry, blackcherry, clove, leather, and tar This turns oxidative with a short glass decant (open in bottle for a few hours). Shows Madeira like charter, think burnt sugar and tar. Baking and anise spice notes on the palate. Medium minus tannin. Still very acidic. Carmel and cherry jubilee leas on a rich and reduced finish, with secondary vanilla and clove flavors hinting a at and oak presence. Blown away by the layers, depth and evolution here.
