One of the best visits in Champagne, Montgueux’s terroir is unmistakable. Manu’s approach at Lassaigne is admirable and the wines are remarkable. This 2010 was superb, and grew from a dense and concise expression into something wider and deeper with an hour being open. I think this was raised in Ganevat Vin Jaune barrels? Wow. Worth every cent. — 7 years ago

Domaine Sainte-Eugénie

Corbières Red Rhone Blend 2014

Another wine sale delight. Full of terroir at the end this tannic but luscious and smooth unctuous wine is the rare combination of rich leather and full fruit. — 5 years ago

Chartogne-Taillet

Sainte Anne Brut Champagne Blend

Fantastic terroir driven champagne. Yeasty with out the bitterness of other champagnes. Honey notes. Apricots. Peaches. — 7 years ago

Sainte Cécile Vin d' Alsace Gewürztraminer

Perfect wine! Sweet but not too sweet, with a woody taste to finish. Perfect with our home made spaetzle blended with cheese. — 4 years ago

Very pleasant wine for accompanying our meal (speatzele and blueberry cheese cake) slightly fruity and woody flavour end the end.
Perfect timing 😊

Clos Ste. Magdeleine

Cassis Blanc Marsanne Blend 2017

Quintessentially Provencial and substantial - made for a meal, not a pool. I live for that bitter herbal fennel apple note that seems to dance from Marsanne to Mourvèdre. Maybe terroir is a thing.

2017 from Clos Sainte Magdeleine has aromas of anise, fennel, celery seed, and apple seed. It’s rich and viscous with acid and flavors of peach, cantaloupe, and honeydew.
