Excellent Etna Rosso from Sicily. Having dinner Al fresco after a visit to Balboa Park. Has the light slightly ashy flavor. — 2 years ago

Tastes like spring! Really enjoyed this bright, fruity, crisp, berry-oriented red. Low al of 10.5%. Buy again occasionally. — 4 years ago
Very dense and dark color. This is intense. A superb cherry and almond nose. Rather simple but inviting. The palate is much better. A strong acid drive which leads the way, a superb width with a blooming cherry note all along. A nice, soft mouthfeel and some matter on the side. Tannins pop up in midpalate with a very fine grain that remains as a layer on top of the mouthfeel until the very end. The finish is fresh with the fruit note and this grainy, almost sandy tannins. This is very good! We paired with home made pasta al ragù, and this was a dream pairing. — 4 years ago
Excellent. Bold fruit and high acidity and solid tannins = Well balanced. Has herbal and leathery layers to it. 13.5% al. For $25, a good value. Buy again. — a year ago
Amazing Cab from Sicily. Who would have thought. Bursting in dark red, blue fruit flavor, very balanced with the plenty of fruit tannins, earthy minerals and a nice spice. This is such an interesting winery that I got to visit sometime. Growing grapes in the slopes of Mnt Edna. — 4 years ago
