Dark blackish red that slightly clings to the glass. Black fruit and tobacco on the inviting nose. Full bodied palate gives black cherry, black tea, and cigar box. Fine dusty tannins. Medium acidity. Long, luxurious, black velvet finish. Calls out for grilled or roasted meats. Beef will do, but lamb or game would be sublime. Drink now through 2028 or beyond. — 18 days ago
Aroma of mango skin and passion fruit. Honeycomb and pine.
Medium to high acidity — it’s got a bite. Woke me up, even. Love the unctuous petrol-like afternote with a slight cheddar-ish kick. Botanicals on the undercurrent of pine and thyme. Thyme, this sings with thyme, unusually.
I like the dry quality of it, but I wish it had some texture or sweetness to balance the acidity. — 11 days ago
2018 - Great Spanish orange wine - mineraly and slightly acidic, but not too funky. Very light.
Natural wine, purchased from Primal.

The perfectly balance of minerality, acid and fruit. Petrichor, crushed rocks and saline are dominant, but orchard fruit, specifically green pear and white peach shine through. There is a subtle hint of delicate white flowers, lily of The Valley and while rose. Given the high acid and salinity, this would pair perfectly with oysters or a creamy seafood dish. All in all one of my new favorite wines! — 5 days ago
Her wines are so awesome and now that I’ve tried her Calcarius line and her Sovracchiaro I pick up on the pattern of easy, beautifully balanced salty citrusy wines - definite step above chuggable.
Despite its optics, less honeyed compared to Sovracchiaro - think tangerine and apricot and pear and yellow plum and definitely the can of fruit cocktail from middle school. — 9 days ago
Wow this was a rich Cab-Sauv with a strong start of BlackBerry, and tart black current overtones with a hint of tobacco and coffee... the finish leaves lingering velvety undertones of mocha. I enjoyed this so much I did the whole bottle... — 22 days ago
For this price!? Loads of spice and Granacha quality. Not a long lasting finnish, but still delicious — 7 hours ago
Light and slight spicy fruity wine. Very drinkable. — 8 days ago
So light and crisp. Easy to drink. Light alcohol taste. — 13 days ago
I don’t usually rate duplicate wines, but this was so much better (and different) than 9 week ago, it merits a review. This is inky opaque and dense with dark fruit w/approachable tannins - as it unwinds there was distinct notes of espresso, tobacco and incense along w/coarse ground black pepper and vanilla. Really shining and magical stuff. QPR is off the charts, fell hard for this one! — a month ago
