Super pleasant and easy to drink, subtle strawberry flavor. — 7 months ago
Bright gold with coppery overtones. Unctuous nose of honey, dried apple., and clay! Palate is full and complex yielding layers of dried apple, white flowers, burnt marzipan, hay, and cinnamon bark. Acidity is firm from entry to finish. Finish is long and recalls the earthier earlier flavors. Wow. I may not think of Vermentino the same way. A complex, layered white with enough "stuff" to compliment a wide range of foods from seafood to poultry to (yes) lighter cuts of beef. Drink now through 2027. — 2 years ago
What a great example of the region the way the additions of Croatina and Vespolina complement the Nebbiolo all grown on the acidic volcanic soil of the region. Red berry flowers mint. Very alpine feel. Plus built to drink early. — 3 months ago
A gorgeous bouquet of maraschino cherry liqueur, violets and saddle leather. But don't leave it uncorked too long - it's a fleeting experience. Sometimes those are the best. — 8 months ago
