Ten Spoon

Goldeneye (Duckhorn Vineyards)

Ten Degrees Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

Wife and I cracked this bottle in honor of two friends that we lost yesterday. Strawberry, blood orange, and even light notes of cinnamon. Very good Pinot noir. Never disappointed with Duckhorn. Rest in peace Zach and Chris, hope you’re drinking all the good stuff up in heaven. — 4 months ago

Sea Smoke

Ten Biodynamic Estate Vineyard Monopole Pinot Noir

Nose has cherry, leather, herbaceous and spice notes. Medium plus acidity, smooth tannins, full bodied Pinot Noir. Tons of red fruit, with notes of black cherry, young strawberry. Secondary notes of oak and vanilla. Short finish, but works well as a package. Great with food cause it is after all, a Pinot Noir. High 14.5% ABV for a Pinot as well, but it opens up nicely and is not closed off. Very pleasant wine to drink! — 3 years ago

Ten Minutes by Tractor

McCutcheon Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

See previous Delectable notes. Light to medium crimson in colour - a tawny rim developing. Aromas of Sous Bois, compost heap and stewed fruits. As I said in a previous note “sinewy “. Savoury red fruits and earthy. Judd vineyard seems to be the pick of the individual Pinot Noir Cuvées at Ten Minutes by Tractor. — 4 months ago

Ten Acre

Sonoma Coast Riesling 2016

This pale yellow wine offers a nose highlighted by lanolin, Meyer lemon, apricot, salinity and a beautiful floral note. The palate is off-dry - 3% residual sugar - and tastes of citrus and apricot, quite muted. The is a healthy dollop of minerals in play and a finish that brings back that soapy salinity. It is not a dessert wine, despite the 375ml bottle, but more of an aperitif. — 2 years ago
