Light citrusy floral nose with hints of minerals. Clean, refreshing apple mineral flavors. Give it a moment in your glass then enjoy! — 7 months ago
2019 vintage. Pop N Pour (PNP). Immediate access and goods available. Smoky, saline, sultry nose. Medium body. Plenty of oak but held in check by current tannins/acidity + fruit balance. Could initially be mistaken as a red Bordeaux from right bank St. Émmie. Keeps piling on the cherry pastille angle and, initially, the wine drinks (not in a bad way) a tad stratified with layers of this, then layers of that. Time in the glass finds that dissipating. Graphite. Ripe dark plum. Blackberries. Dark cherries. Each of these figure prominently during. Elements of grace hovering in the meanwhile with a rich, carob, plummy flourish at palate’s end. Biodynamic and certified organic. Gotta go pick up a few more bottles. 01.01.25. — 19 days ago
Mostly Tempranillo, with a little Graciano and Garnacha and a splash of white grapes, aged for 1 year in combo of concrete, barrel and foudre. Deep Ruby with aromas of of fruit, spices and sweet floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao and black pepper. Firm approachable tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and floral mineral character. Drink now! — 7 months ago
Bringing back Malaga from the dead, Telmo Rodriguez does it again.
Stylistically this is halfway between Sauternes and Pantelleria - combining the waxy creamy botrytis character with the extravagant exotic notes of Passito di Pantelleria. Candid apricot, orange peel, a pinch of spice, overripe peach.
Unabashedly sweet & indulgent but beautifully balanced and nicely poised.
A killer desert wine and quite delicious. — a month ago

Telmo Rodriguez,Gago G, from Toro, Spain. 2017 vintage. Made of Tinta de Toro (local Tempernillo)and Albiño Mayor. Brilliant red color, delicate nose of light dill, black fruits and vanilla notes. Good structure, balanced, chewy. Went well with the Sinta steak. — 2 years ago

— 2 days ago
