Lavender, blackberry and a little funk in nose in initial pour. Dense ruby red. Light body, slight skin astringency finish. Needs some time to open. Fairly tart. Raspberry flavor emerges first, then cherry. 24 hours later, fresh table grape character and seed tannins predominate. This is a solid light tasting table red with plenty of tannins for aging. I do find I miss the Zinfandel portion from earlier vintages but get more bottles of these and the style will grow on you — 2 months ago
Full bodied, so tasty. — 5 months ago
Reddish in color with light intensity.
Red fruits on the nose with light oak, spices, herbs and milk chocolates.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, red cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates and earth.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Pinot Noir from Oregon is easy drinking, nicely balanced and soft.
Good right out of the bottle and good as a sipping wine.
Would be nice to revisit it in 2 years.
Good by itself or with food. I gave it a light chill, and paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
Whole Cluster Pinot Noir grapes were fermented with native yeast. Aged for 10 months in oak barrels. Unfiltered and unfined.

Great $28 bottle. Cherry finish as the name suggests with a coffee and leather finish. Really delicious. — 5 months ago
100% Monastrell (aka Garrut in Catalonia). Very funky at first. Lots of red fruit, some herbal notes. Savory, juicy and spicy. Easy to drink, very enjoyable — a month ago
Great perfume. Strong burn, bit “alcoholic” in the middle yet with a great finale that really shows hints of the other more renowned cuvées. Less animality than expected. — a month ago

A blend in three equal parts of Cinsault from the Bechthold Vineyard (1886), Carignane from Spenker Ranch (1900) and Zinfandel from Kirschenmann Vineyard (1915).
Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Consistent throughout but probably showed best on day three. The 2022 Lodi pours, a deep ruby color with a transparent core and a slightly watery rim. Medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine youthful and expressive with notes of black bramble fruit, blueberries, soft red flowers, red rope licorice, and rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry; medium tannins and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is lengthy and full of minerals and wow, it is juicy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Tegan is redefining Lodi. These wines show so much character and yet have all the Lodi DNA. Drink now and through 2032. 40 barrels produced. — 4 days ago
