Drinking well right now. Soft tannins. Dark red fruit and plum notes with a long and smooth finish. — 2 months ago
Strong QPR, fascinated study to see an entry level offering from Tablas Creek aged 13 years. Time has taken the fruit farther back from the palate, featuring meaty and stewed fruit up front, sweet tobacco mid-palate and vanishing tannins on the finish. #pasorobles — 3 months ago
Love getting this in my Spring shipment. — a month ago
A tasting of six aged white Rhônes, including 20 and 35-year-old Hermitages vs Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Blancs from Les Granits and a 19-year-old Esprit from Tablas Creek, Beaucastel's sister winery in Paso Robles, as well as one of the first great Viogniers to come out of California, the 2009 Calera Mount Harlan. The Tablas Creek held up well against these heavyweights, coming in second place. — 2 months ago
