Best cognac! By Misel Toma... — 6 years ago
This is a Dolcetto D’Alba from Podere Gallo from Monforte d’Alba. The best Dolcetto I had in a long time. I had it at my daughter’s birthday party, paired with prosciutto, boiled vegetables salad, toma and machego and uova al verde. Thumbs up — 7 years ago
Very delicious. Dry pet nat. Notes of honey — 8 years ago
Another excellent bottle of Nebbiolo D'Alba 2011 from Piccaluga. Had it with my dad and mom in Alba, with salame cotto, roasted peppers and toma. Intense, plum, deep and balanced. — 9 years ago

Barolo Pittatore 1979. A great bottle to celebrate Christmas 2024 with my parents. Amazing texture and body after 45 years. I used the decanter and let it breathe for one hour. Had it with porcini, roasted peppers, polenta and fontina, cotechino and puree and toma. Great experience with my parents — 2 years ago
amargo casual....seco “bien”... no super fan pero está bueno... mejor cuando no se toma muy helado.... — 6 years ago
Still young, with nice aging potential. — 6 years ago
Viogner con magnífica evolución. Madera muy integrada que toma un segundo plano y cede la relevancia a la fruta procesada: mermelada albaricoque, brioche, especias dulces al fondo. Acidez y frescor. De lujo tras 6 años..... — 8 years ago
Memorable wine and reunion. Barolo 1971. Kept its structure, strong hints of berries. Had it with Sergi after 24 years, and Ferruccio. Paired it with toma cheese, antipasto piemontese di verdure, agnolotti al plin, salame di cinghiale, cipollotti bolliti. MEMORABLE — 9 years ago
Lighter bodied than expected with dusty rose and forest floor on the nose. Good acidity and moderate tannins with dried cherry and raspberry fruit flavors. 2012 received 94 points from James Suckling, I believe. Excellent pairing with Toma restaurant rack of lamb in pomegranate glaze (Santa Barbara). — 10 years ago
Single variety Sauvignon Blanc from Northern part of Croatia, incredibly aromatic, light, bold golden color with a hint of apricot and green pepper, pairs well with a light appetizer or salad. — 3 years ago
Dessert wine, but not extremely sweet
Very fresh
On the nose is almondy and cheese plus amazingly floral as if you are on an Alpine highland where cows are free range
It reminds me of a Malga Toma di Gressonay
On the palate is very citrusy somewhere between an orange rind and a grapefruit plus all the flowers still there and a almondy finish
Very very good
Production is so limited i can't even hope to get another bottle unless i go to visit Val d'Aosta
I guess the label doesn't follow any legislation/doc, but a little writing on the side of the label should hint that grapes were sourced from the 2012 vintage🤷♂️😅 — 5 years ago
Lovely acidity, balanced with the slight sweetness of pear and white flowers. Paired well with our Toma cheddar for #girlsnightin Thanks to #houseofpurevin #hopv — 7 years ago
At Toma, Santa Barbara w/ LDG.1/28/19. Mediocre food; good bottle of Foxen. — 7 years ago
Dry, low alcohol, with hints of lemon and melon: this prosecco was perfect with snacks of toma and pressed meats! — 8 years ago
Boca DOC 2010 Azienda Agricola Terrini. Nebbiolo, Vespolina e Uva rara. Three years in oak barrels. I had it with ravioli al plin with butter and black truffles (white not in season), culatello with grissini, and toma, with mom and dad. Good potential from Alto Piemonte — 9 years ago

Vintage 2020 | mesmerizing smell, leather, pipetobacco, strict because tannins are very present, lots and lots of potential — a year ago
