Black cherry, raspberry, wet earth and mushrooms, with chestnut, pecan and plum. Tart cherry and ripe red cherry meet dried black cherry, lavender, and rose petal, sweet cranberry, dried raspberry, smoke and cola. Generous Pinot from older vines, that exhibits structure and integrity. Iconic.

Ridgecrest has always been my favorite Chehalem vineyard, but this 2011 from the Stoller Vineyard contends at almost 13 years. Pure, fresh, black cherry, fine acid-tannin structure, with a long, vibrant, elegant finish. — 7 months ago
Light to medium translucent garnet with a light nose of red fruits with touches of earth, oak and maybe leather. In the mouth a light fruit forward feel with the same red fruit and mineral tastes and a touch of spice. Mild acidity comes through quickly but not objectionable at all. Low tannins. A nice cocktail wine and good for lighter foods like seafood if you want a red — 2 months ago
So good. Found at Vine Styles, smooth, fruity but dry. Bit of a splurge and would make a great gift. $48 — 4 months ago
This was the Eola-Amity club exclusive. Probably my favorite I’ve had of the series! — 3 months ago
